Surrey RCMP is reporting of “a fight involving a weapon”  that occurred this morning (Aug 6, 2019) in South Surrey.

 

At approximately 8:50 am, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a fight in the 900-block of 160 Street.

Officers found a man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

The victim was transported to hospital by air ambulance in serious, but stable condition.

 

Two suspects initially fled from the scene in a vehicle and then on foot.

Both had been apprehended by police in the Cloverdale area with assistance from the Integrated Police Dog Services and RCMP Air Services.

 

Police say that the investigation is in its early stages, however initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.
