If you’re having trouble finding a job or just want to see what opportunities are out there, you don’t want to miss the Mega Job Fair happening in Surrey in August.

The ‘PICS’ (Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society) is hosting its Mega Job Fair, August 8th from 10am to 3:30pm at the North Surrey Recreation Centre (10275 City Pkwy, Surrey) where job seekers can network with potential employers based in Surrey and beyond.

“We’re calling it a mega job fair because we’re expecting over 100 exhibitors including a variety of industries from retail, sales, food, warehouses, construction, non-profits, government agencies, and more,” says Lily Dhadral with PICS.

Dhadral says the job fair is for people of all ages looking for part and full time, and even seasonal work including Christmas!

More than 3,000 people are expected to attend so make sure to arrive early to nab that great first impression.

“Dress for success,” adds Dhadral. “Bring your resume, cover letter, business card, and come prepared to network and market yourself.”

The event is free but attendees must print out a ticket beforehand.
