Can You Spot the Spotted Owl?
Learn about BC’s most endangered bird of prey, the northern spotted owl. Explore the life of the mysterious northern spotted owl through games and activities. Please note: our birds are wild so no live owls will be present at the program. Ages 6-12, parent participation required. Pre-registration required; email: nsobreedingprogram@gmail.com

Be a Beach Hero: Beach Exploration
Join a Beach Hero Marine Interpreter to explore life on the beach and discover the creatures that call Crescent Beach home. Bring water and a hat. Please dress for the weather. Pre-registration required; email register@birdsonthebay.ca

Owl Prowl
Come have a hoot! A guest from the O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society will introduce you to some live owls and lead a guided walk into the park to search for these feathered wonders. Ages 5+. Pre-registration required; call 604-502-6065.

Learn to Fish
Youth ages 5-15 can learn the basics of freshwater fishing and give it a try! This two-hour session includes fishing time on Green Timbers Lake. All equipment provided, parent supervision required. Pre-registration required. Spaces are limited so book early!

Orchard Fun — Help Build a Cool Cob House!
Come mix soil, straw and other ingredients to build a cool new storage shed in the orchard. We’ll all build and decorate it together. Join us on June 2nd to complete the project.

Wander among the mature trees and flowering shrubs in the beautiful Darts Hill Garden. The garden is at its peak at this time of year!
