Worlds of Wonder: Where nature, technology and history come to life, through LEGO® bricks! @ Museum of Surrey
Jun 20 – Nov 4 all-day

Did you know six eight-stud LEGO® bricks can be combined in over 915 million different ways? Wow! Imagine what a couple of million bricks could create.

The feature gallery is being transformed this spring in partnership with the VLC, Vancouver’s Community for Adult Fans of LEGO. Enter Worlds of Wonder and see existence transform before your eyes into creations made of colorful LEGO® bricks.

Which adventure will you choose? Whether nature, technology or history, inspired bricks will tell the story in a way you’ve never seen before. A tornado built of LEGO®? Yup! Take a walk back in time to see dinosaurs or medieval castles. Even visit the International Space Station – all without leaving Surrey.

Cloverdale Market Days 2019 @ Historic Downtown Cloverdale
Jul 27 @ 10:00 am – Sep 21 @ 3:00 pm

Cloverdale Market Days 2019

Located in Historic Downtown Cloverdale and in it’s 6th year, Cloverdale Market Days events run five times each year and are attended by thousands of locals and tourists.

This year, market days will be held on May 25th, June 22nd, July 27th, August 24th and September 21st.

From it’s humble beginnings in 2014 with a small number of vendors and businesses at the first event, Cloverdale Market Days has become a large exciting market with vendors coming from all over Cloverdale and the surrounding communities.

They are a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, see showcased local artists, enjoy outdoor entertainment, taste great food from our local restaurants, and discover new local businesses in our vibrant community.

In 2019, we will have displays from the Arts Council Of Surrey, more family activities, and closing of the roads on 176th street from 56A to 58 Ave to accommodate more vendors, activities, and food trucks.

Prospera Cinema Under the Stars
Aug 23 @ 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

You bring the blankets, we’ll bring the stars.

Bring the family and take in a free flick on a 3-storey high big screen. Movie starts at dusk. The movie is on us, but since this night is about families, we will be taking donations on behalf of a local charity.

We welcome you to arrive between 5:00PM and dusk to participate in a variety of family activities before the movie starts rolling.
