A man is dead, and another injured, after a shooting in North Surrey on the weekend.

On Sunday (Dec. 1) just before 11 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 13600-block of 114 Avenue.

When police arrived, they found one man dead and another injured from what appear to be gunshot wounds.

The injured man was taken to the hospital where he remains in serious condition.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and is currently leading the investigation.

The victims are known to police and this is believed to be a targeted incident.
