A man is in hospital after being stabbed in South Surrey on Tuesday morning.

At about 8:50 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a fight in the 900-block of 160 Street. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from stab wounds.

He was transported to hospital by air ambulance in serious, but stable, condition.

Two suspects initially drove away and then fled on foot. Both have been arrested.

The investigation is in its early stages, however initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.
