On October 12th at approximately 5:30 P.M. Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police received a report of male that may possibly have a firearm in a vehicle.  Officers of the Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police were advised of the description.

The vehicle was observed being driven by a lone male in the Cloverdale area of Surrey, and multiple officers of the Surrey Royal Canadian Mounted Police converged on the vehicle and it was stopped on Hwy#10 just East of 168th St., Surrey, B.C.

The driver, a resident of Surrey, B.C. was taken into custody, and a firearm was located in the vehicle.  The matter is still presently under investigation
