On November 13th, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Surrey RCMP received a report of a robbery at a sandwich restaurant in the 13200 block of 72nd Avenue. The lone male suspect allegedly entered the restaurant and selected a drink from the fridge. The suspect then approached the cashier and pulled out a large knife and demanded money. The suspect departed the restaurant in an unknown direction.

Surrey RCMP’s Robbery Unit is leading this investigation. A number of investigative steps have been completed, however, the male has not been positively identified. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, approximately 25 years old, heavy-set, and between 5’6”-5’8” tall. He had a trimmed beard and was wearing a blue hoodie and black jacket.
