Shortly before 9:00 pm on September 20, 2018, a pedestrian was struck by two westbound vehicles on Hwy 10 approximately 200 metres east of 152 Street.  The pedestrian, an adult male in his 50’s, was attempting to cross Hwy 10 northbound and was not using a crosswalk at the time of the collision.

The male was struck by one vehicle which fled the scene and then struck a second time by a vehicle which was following behind the first. The driver of the second involved vehicle stayed at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with police.

Investigators are looking for the suspect vehicle which was described as a white SUV with a “boxy’ appearance.  Investigators are asking anyone who was a witness to this incident, who has not already been in contact with police, to please call the Surrey RCMP. Investigators are also canvassing the area for video and asking any members of the public who may have captured the incident on dash-cam to call the police.
