Are you a fan of reading?

A new survey by Kindle reveals that 70% of people who read on a weekly basis are happier than those who read less frequently — or not at all.

That said, we must tell you about a new campaign Surrey Libraries is getting involved with next month.

They are going to be offering free, unlimited access to a new book called “Glass Beads” in all their eBook and eAudiobook platforms.

So if you have a Surrey library card, you can find this e-book with no holds or waitlists in June.

Glass Beads is written by Indigenous author, actor, and comedian Dawn Dumont.

It is a collection of interconnected short stories, focussed on the lives of four First Nations people,
where they share their experiences when it comes to culture and society.

Should be an interesting read!
