This week, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Video Game Addictions “a mental health disorder”.

They say it can be classified as this if the addiction “takes precedence over other life interests”.

It also describes the condition as “a pattern of persistent or recurrent gaming behavior, which may be online or offline.”
