Mine was “End of the Road” by Boyz 11 Men. It had come out many years before I graduated but everyone thought the title of the song fit perfectly.  Some of us wanted a more current song but in the end Boyz 11 Men won out. I still love the song and of course Boyz 11 Men!

When I graduated I never really had a, ‘grad song’ as it were. As a matter of fact I’m not sure it was a, ‘thing.’ The year I graduated their were two songs that were massive. One was, ‘Shout’ by Tears For Fears and ‘U Spin Me Round’ by the band Dead Or Alive. Where I grew up there wasn’t a Camaro, I-Roq or GQ Haircut that didn’t have You Spin Me Round cranked on the speakers that were worth 3 times the actual vehicles worth. Had I gone to high school in the 1990’s am I certain my grad song would have been, ‘I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts just because it was the theme song to the TV show ‘Friends’ and just because Jennifer Aniston.
