If you’ve ever wanted to try birdwatching, now’s the time!

 The Fraser Valley Regional Library  library is renting out 50 “Birdwatching Backpacks” that will be available to all library card holders starting this Monday.

The backpacks will include everything you need to dive into bird watching including

  • a pair of binoculars
  • the The National Geographic Pocket Guide to the Birds of North America
  • the  British Columbia Birds: A Folding Pocket Guide to Familiar Species pocket guide
  • a birdwatching guide with some helpful hints on how to spot the best birds in your regionThe backpacks will be circulated between 25 different libraries throughout the summer and you’ll be able to rent them for a week at a time, FREE!
