Come celebrate Family Literacy Day!
Honour Family Literacy Day with the annual Surrey Kids Read event from 11am to 2pm at Guildford Town Centre’s Centre Court.
Family Literacy Day is a national initiative involving annual events held on or around January 27 to raise awareness of the importance of families reading together and engaging in other literacy-related activities.
There will be a full lineup of children’s entertainers at Guildford Town Centre and the first 200 families will receive a free copy of the book, The Reading Tree. While there, make sure to pick up a colouring sheet that you can return finished to any Surrey Library for a free New Kids Walter & Jazzy book bag!
