My Flashback song today came out in 1995 by 4PM. “Sukiyaki” made it to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and only #55 here in Canada. The original song is a Japanese-language song that was performed by Japanese crooner Kyu Sakamoto and came out in 1963 in North America. This version uses the same English-language lyrics written by Janice Marie Johnson.
