Ahh, Springtime. Beautiful flowers, warmer weather, cottonwood fluff floating in the wind…and of course, spiders!
They stand on the tips of their toes, cast out their webs into the wind, and through the power of static electricity, they fly into the air. Through this, they can fly hundreds of kilometers, even as high as airplanes!
It really makes you wonder…on a windy day in Surrey, how many spiders are flying around, looking down on us?
Are you scared yet? Because we are! Our advice: don’t look up!
