Today Pulse FM said goodbye to a personality that’s been with the station since day one.

For the last three years Leah Holiove has hosted everything from the 10am-12pm show, to mornings, to back to middays, to back to those early mornings again most recently co-hosting Pulse Mornings with Neil Morrison.

While her name has been a staple on Vancouver and South of the Fraser airwaves for years, working for Z95.3, JRFM and News 1130, her most recognizable role by far was as Global BC’s traffic reporter where for seven years she flew around the sky reporting on crashes, homicides and anything else she could see from above to get commuters home safely.

While it’s been some of the best years of her life, Holiove says she’s ready for a change.

“I got to a point where I thought I want to explore other things and see what else drives me,” said Holiove. “All I’ll say is Im going from being in the spotlight to outside the spotlight, we’ll just leave it at that. It was a tough decision. I had to go back to school to get the credentials to do what I’m going to be doing. I just wanted to explore other things and see what else drives me.”

Pulse FM hosted a goodbye lunch for Holiove Friday to celebrate and wish their colleague the best in her new career.
