This years Mother’s Day lands on Sunday May 13th, which will make it a happy and sad day, May 13th is the day my dad passed away. It has been three years since he died and it hasn’t gotten easier for me, you see I am and always will be a daddy’s girl. I was very close with my dad until the last day he spent on earth.
So for this Mother’s Day I will be spending time with my family and reflecting on how short and fragile life can be. Don’t get me wrong we will celebrate but it will have a different feel this year. On Sunday I will not only be celebrating my awesome mom, I will also be celebrating my dad and how much he and my mom mean to me.
I want to wish all the fabulous mothers out there…HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
