An Australian billionaire is building a complete actual size replica of the Titanic, compete with the same cabin layout and interior with significant safety upgrades and modern technology. The Titanic 2 will be able to carry 2,400 passengers and 500 crew. Another thing that will be improved is lifeboats. 18 of them in total that can each carry 250 people.
The maiden voyage for the Titanic 2 is 4 years away.
