34 year old Surrey resident Jared Mcclure has been arrested and charged according to the Surrey RCMP after a string of robberies.  On August 30th the Surrey RCMP Robbery Unit with assistance from the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team (IMPACT)arrested Mcclure after committing eight bank robberies across the Lower Mainland. The suspect had been arrested by IMPACT earlier in the day in a stolen vehicle in Surrey, before subsequently being arrested by the Surrey RCMP for the robberies.

Jared Mcclure has now been charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle and Robbery for a series of bank robberies that occurred between July 31 St  and August 21 St  in Surrey, Coquitlam, and Vancouver.

The investigation is ongoing as officers from multiple Lower Mainland cities work together to determine if the suspect may be responsible for additional robberies in the region.
