According to a British study the answer is yes. One in ten men between 18 and 34 years old are deciding to take their wives last names instead of keeping their own. This means the wives are not changing their last names to their husbands either. I am kind of old fashioned when it comes to this tradition, taking the grooms last name or even hyphening the two last names I think are what I believe in the most. I can understand though if the groom has a very hard last name to say and spell, maybe then it’s a good idea! So where do you stand? Do you think this is a great trend or are you more old fashioned and think we shouldn’t mess with tradition? Let me know what you think here.
