In Surrey there’s SO many parks to choose from (over 200 in fact!) on a bright sunny day it can be overwhelming on which one to choose (I know, first world problems?!)

With the gorgeous summer weather officially upon us, Pulse Morning’s Tara Lopez asked listeners Wednesday what their ultimate favourite green spot is in Surrey that other people just HAVE to check out!

Based on follower feedback it appears the following three parks are the ‘go to’ spots to check out with the kids this summer….

1. Williams Park in Langley

A park with a creek AND Tarzan rope to swing off of? Sign me up!

2. Bear Creek Park in Surrey

Bear Creek Park has seven picnic shelters for an instant cool down from the sun making it the perfect spot to explore and play board games under the shade after with the kiddies!

3. Douglas Park in Langley

The perfect spot to go for a nice leisurely slow or take in live music in the summer

Myself, I love Green Timbers Park. As one of the city’s largest parks its home to over ten kilometres of nature trails to explore that one can never be bored! (Your legs on the other hand may start to burn!)

Speaking of parks, check out these awesome park events happening throughout Surrey all summer long (including TONS of live music!) that you’ll definitely want to hit up with the kids!
