Cyrus has been a resident of New Westminster since 2007 and is proud to live in such a diverse, vibrant and caring community. He believes the foundation of a great community and city are its schools and a strong public education system.

Cyrus has also served as a volunteer and co-chair on the Kolumbia Inn Daycare Society (K.I.D.S).

Cyrus is a professional engineer (P.Eng) and hi-tech marketing professional. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Applied Science (System Engineering) and is currently a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Sierra Wireless.
