On September 30, 2018 around 9:45 p.m. Surrey RCMP responded the intersection of 75th Avenue and 122A Street in Surrey after receiving a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. A male in his 80’s has been transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
It is early on in the investigation, however, speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. Surrey’s Criminal Crash Investigation Team in continuing to investigate this incident.
