Get ready to bring on the waterworks, folks!

Montreal Canadiens goalie, Carey Price, recently made a huge difference in the life of a young boy.

Initially, they met at a practice game in Toronto in March, where the goalie gave the boy signed hockey sticks, a signed puck, and a big hug. The boy had recently lost his 45-year old mother last November to breast cancer, who had promised him that she would help the boy meet his idol some day. He comforted the boy during this encounter, and it was an emotional moment for both of them.

Fast-forward to the NHL Awards yesterday. The boy was brought on stage during the ceremony, only to be surprised by Carey Price, walking out to present him with a jersey. It was a meaningful, tearful moment for anyone who saw, and a memorable reminder to appreciate our loved ones while we have them.

“Everything’s great. We’re going to have fun tonight, OK? This is all for you, bud.” Price said.

Such a wonderful act of kindness really puts things into perspective, doesn’t it?
