All the rain in the city makes for lots of snow on our local mountains!

There are a few options for snow play close to Surrey.  Just an hour or less from Surrey, Mount Seymour has one of the best setups.

If you have smaller kids in the family, you’ll enjoy sledding/tobogganing on the many runs at Mt. Seymour.  You can bring your own sled or buy a sliding sheet for $10 and go as many times as you like.  There are no age or height restrictions, but the sledding area does close at 4PM so it’s best to go earlier in the day to make the most of your time!

Tubing is for kids over 4 feet tall.  Tubes are provided by the mountain.  You’ll go pretty fast on the tubes!  The tubing area is open and lighted until 8PM, so you can go a little later if you like. The best part about tubing is that there is a gondola that brings you back up the hill!

Hitting the mountain on a sunny day will reward you with breathtaking views, but if you want to beat the lineups, tobogganing and tubing is a great rainy (or snowy) day activity.  Less lineups, more parking!
