Two of the world’s biggest brands of our childhood from the 1990s are joining forces this summer to save the galaxy!

Mattel (the makers of Barbie) and Star Wars (Lucasfilm Ltd.) have teamed up to bring us The New “Star Wars” Barbie Doll Collection.
These Barbies are dressed up ike Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and R2-D2.
And, just to clarify…
These are not “Star Wars Figurines” per say.
These are more like Barbies Dressed in Star Wars Halloween Costumes.
For example, the R2-D2 Barbie has blue hair, and her dress is designed to look space agey with fashion inspired by R2-D2.
If you can imagine that.
Princess Leah Barbie is not in that Gold Bikini,
but in a flowy white gown, and classic Princess Leah “Hair Buns”.
And Darth Vader Barbie, well she’s got the black cape going on. And sunglasses…. whatever works right?
Now the question is… will they make the same costumes for Ken (?) ….
Turning Baribie’s Boyfriend into Luke Skywalker, Chewbecca or hey howbout a Yoda Ken… we would love to see them!
