On November 18, 2018 at approximately 5:00 pm the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision in the 6900 block of King George Boulevard involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Early indications are that a red Suzuki motorcycle was travelling southbound on King George Boulevard when a grey Lexus SUV turned out of a parking lot in front of the motorcycle to drive northbound on King George Boulevard.  The motorcyclist applied his brakes which caused the motorcycle to lose balance, slide and collide into the SUV.

The 65-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in hospital. The 28-year-old female driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries, remained on scene and cooperated with police. The Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team has conduct of the investigation.
