The Surrey RCMP Drug Unit and the Surrey Gang Enforcement Team (SGET) seized two vehicles and illicit drugs on November 1, 2018 as part of the Surrey RCMP’s unyielding approach to tackling gangs, and the violence associated to the drug trade in the community.

A collaborative effort between the Drug Unit and SGET to conduct pro-active enforcement lead to the identification and interception of two suspected drug traffickers associated to dial-a-dope operations in Surrey.

In both interceptions, police located and seized items consistent with drug trafficking including a quantity of suspected cocaine, suspected heroine, money and cell phones. Police also seized both vehicles as offense related property.

Two adult males, one in each interception, were arrested and released pending further investigation. No charges have been laid at this time.
