Everyone has their breaking point, with me it’s Spiders  -Gord Downie-

Nothing has those who fear spiders more terrified than when you are told the average person swallows at least 8 spiders in our lifetime while we sleep. Good news according to those in the know – they say that is just a myth. The Authors of a book called, ‘Don’t Swallow Your Gum: Myths Half Truths, and Outright Lies About Your Body and Health’ say the chances of a spider crawling into your mouth in the middle of the night is very slim. For a spider to actually get onto a bed, find your mouth, your mouth being open, and the fact that they don’t like the human breath – there’s a great chance a spider has never crawled into your mouth and you have eaten it. Have you swallowed 8 spiders in your lifetime? It’s possible. Is it highly unlikely you’ve swallowed even one? Probable.

Please take a moment to join me in a huge sigh of relief.
