Just after 1:30 this morning Langley RCMP were called to a residential property in southern Brookswood. Unknown males had entered the home and stole items from inside the house as well as their vehicle.  Police responding to the home observed the stolen vehicle fleeing the residence.  Fortunately, Air One was in the area and followed the vehicle into Surrey where it came to a stop at the intersection of 168 Street and 92nd Avenue after two tires were deflated by a spike belt deployment.

Four people exited the vehicle and ran.  Lower Mainland Police Dog Services was able to establish a track and locate two of the suspects who have been arrested and returned to Langley Detachment.  Items stolen from the residence were recovered in the vehicle and will be returned to the owner.

Police will recommend charges for the two Surrey youths, 16 and 17 years old.  The investigation into the identity of the two outstanding suspects is ongoing.
