Anti-Bullying Day is a day when people wear mainly a pink shirt to symbolize a stand against bullying, an idea that originated in Canada. It is celebrated on various dates around the world.
Gracie Barra New Westminster school of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and martial arts will be holding a series of one day community anti-bullying seminars for kids ages 4 to 13. The seminar will focus on character development, role playing, as well as learning how to deal with bullies in a non violent manner.
Kids can attend one 45 minute seminar any day and don’t need to attend all the sessions. All kids who attend the event will receive a Gracie Barra certificate of completion. Limited spots available for each seminar.
