Premier John Horgan attended the opening of Simon Fraser University’s new sustainable energy engineering building in downtown Surrey today (April 25 2019).
Treasury Board president Joyce Murray joinedHorgan at the new SFU building that features the first of its kind program in Western Canada, with classes beginning in the fall.
Students will learn about a variety of topics including clean technology, smart cities, sustainable manufacturing and sustainable water solutions.
The program will include courses from other disciplines such as science, environment and business. (The Canadian Press)
