The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has joined forces with Crime Stoppers and the “BOLO” program in hopes of finding a man wanted for a targeted shooting in Surrey in 2017.

BOLO stands for “Be on the Lookout”.

Police say Brandon Teixeira has not been found since first-degree murder charges were laid against him last September for the murder of Nicholas Khabra.

A 55-thousand dollar reward has now been posted for information that could lead to Teixeira’s arrest, and Crime Stoppers officials will administer the cash while the BOLO program, will assist by raising the profile of the case.

Teixeira is described as “extremely violent” and is believed to be in Metro Vancouver but police have said he may travel to Edmonton or Calgary, where he has associates.
